Inner Landcape @ Kaboom Festival
Location: Eye filmmuseum, Amsterdam
Date: March 21, 2026
An artist talk with a 30-minute hands-on botanical art workshop about our inner landscape.
Invited by Kaboom Festival and Asian Movie Night, I will share my journey to the west after the screening of
the animation film 'Dandelion's Odyssey'. (by Monoko Seto)
Besides an artist talk right after the screening in the cinema. At the Kamboom Café. I will host a 30-minute Botanical Art workshop, a hands-on way to put our thoughts and feelings into vision and symbols. It's an invitation to the 'viewers' to play with botanical materials and give a dive into the theme of the film together.
Workshop Botanical Art - Inner Landscape
Let's explore the subtle connections between the environment and the self. Through the chemistry between botany and art. Inspired by Dandelion’s Odyssey, you are invited to visualise your inner landscape with the dried flower petals. By creating a collective constellation through touch, scent, shape, and colour, the workshop gives you a chance to explore how we relate to our inner landscape, and how that expression might redefine our connection to one another, and to the more-than-human worlds that we inhabit.
