Curious to know more about my art series Eet Maar? During this edition of Meet & Greet, I will share my inspiration and vision that fuels the creative process of Eet Maar.
Food constitutes an important part of our daily rituals. In my series Eet Maar, I research the differences between China and the Netherlands in terms of eating habits. The 9 artworks connect my botanical art practice with earthly material: porcelain.
During the Meet & Greet, I will guide the participants to connect each visual artwork with the corresponding smell set. This creates a special sensory experience in which image, smell, and story come together. In addition, visitors can have a taste of Osmanthus flower tea, a scent and taste that is also part of Eet Maar.
